Birdwatching and nature reserves
Carsington Water Carsington is a great spot for unusual sightings. http://www.carsingtonbirdclub.co.uk for latests sightings. Sheepwash carpark has feeders.
RSPB Coombe Valley Great for birdwatching, lots for kids to do at this reserve, a really imaginative kids’ nature trail with dens, climbing equipment, fairy village and rope walkways. Dogs allowed in very limited areas.

Trentham Monkey Park
Take a walk on the wild side at Trentham Monkey Forest and get up close and personal with 140 Barbary macaques.
